This powerful conference for educators and administrators in METCO districts is designed to connect today’s classroom practice with the inspiring history of METCO’s founding.
Rediscover the grassroots movement that brought students of color from Boston to your suburb in the peak of the Civil Rights Movement
Learn how to tap into the social-emotional benefits that racially integrated schools create
Identify strategies to ensure a welcoming community for all of your students when they return in the fall
The event will begin at 8:00am with a full American breakfast. Guest facilitators RON JONES and RAUL FERNANDEZ will lead the presentation and discussion. We will close with a special gift from METCO to the first 200 attendees.
