TELE-THERAPY

As a result of abrupt school closings, social distancing from friends; decreased academic support; and health impacts to family, friends, and loved ones; students are experiencing a new level of anxiety, stress, and emotions in this “new norm.”  To meet the increased need for therapeutic services for our students, METCO is contracting with a team of therapists that are ready to provide this very targeted level of support. 

WHAT: One-on-one trauma and therapeutic support to help cope with loss, isolation, and school disruptions

WHO: METCO students in all grades, paired with a diverse group of certified mental health counselors

WHEN: Ongoing, weekly 50-minute sessions at convenient hours

WHERE: Online or via phone

COST: $100 per session, some health insurance accepted
