Support METCO with a contribution!

Help sustain a national model for school desegregation—now more than ever. In a time when schools are more segregated than they were in the 1950s, METCO creates learning environments where students, parents and teachers of different backgrounds can appreciate diversity, build lifelong friendships, and prepare young people to become global citizens. Learn how you can break down barriers with our students!

Tell your legislator to fund METCO!

The METCO program has historically relied entirely on a line item in the state budget for funding for transportation, staffing, and programming at the district level, as well as the administration costs of METCO HQ. This year, METCO is seeking full funding of $25.6 million to be distributed across 33 school districts. Write, email, or call your legislators in support of this line item!
