Director of Enrollment

Wilmary Tejeda has over 10 years in the non-profit sector and has an extensive history working with people from varying cultural, linguistic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds, including K-12 and higher education systems. She serves as the Director of Enrollment. Under her leadership, METCO transitioned to an accessible, transparent, and online application portal and supported various high-level policy changes, making it more equitable for parents to apply to the highly sought-after program. She is passionate about serving and advocating for families in any capacity that helps them advance.  She works with local non-profit, civic, community, and grant-making organizations to provide our students with academic, enrichment, social, emotional, college, career, engagement, and leadership opportunities in Boston. She is a first generation college graduate who was born in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. She holds a BA in Spanish with a minor in Special Education from Bridgewater State University and a Master’s in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from Suffolk
