Donate to METCO
Why donate to METCO?
Racial isolation is one of the leading causes of stereotype perpetuation. Unfortunately, this is an issue that still persists, but METCO is leading the way with school desegregation in addition to robust student support programming, antiracist activism, and collaboration with 33 suburban districts.
Your contribution helps plant the seeds of change today that will expand into a brighter future. When you donate to METCO, your gift helps provide a culturally diverse environment for all students. This increases college acceptance rates and creates graduates who are ready to participate in the global economy. Students of color as well as white students are then empowered to create a more meaningful impact in society and the communities they are part of.
Bus by bus lives are changed and communities are transformed. Be part of the solution by joining METCO’s antiracist movement with a donation today!
Your donation helps kids:
- Get a great education
- Make lifelong, interracial friendships
- Appreciate diversity and break down racial barriers and stereotypes
- Learn together through shared experiences
- and prepare to become global citizens
