Wilmary Tejeda

Chief Student Services and Enrollment Officer

Wilmary Tejeda has over 10 years in the non-profit sector and has an extensive history working with people from varying cultural, linguistic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds, including K-12 and higher education systems. She serves as the Chief Student Services and Enrollment  Officer. Under her leadership, METCO transitioned to an accessible, transparent, and online application portal and supported various high-level policy changes, making it more equitable for parents to apply to the highly sought-after program. She is passionate about serving and advocating for families in any capacity that helps them advance.  She works with local non-profit, civic, community, and grant-making organizations to provide our students with academic, enrichment, social, emotional, college, career, engagement, and leadership opportunities in Boston. She is a first generation college graduate who was born in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. She holds a BA in Spanish with a minor in Special Education from Bridgewater State University and a Master’s in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from Suffolk
