FUNDING
From its earliest years, the state of Massachusetts has allocated funding to METCO’s partner districts for transportation, staffing, and programming, as well as administrative and program costs at METCO’s Headquarters.
Individuals, including Boston parents, suburban families, and program alumni, have also contributed generously to sustaining METCO and providing scholarships and enrichment for students. An increasing number of foundations and companies have been awarding grants and sponsorships as well.

LEGISLATIVE CHAMPIONS
As the Legislature considers this allotment every year, our communities rely especially on our legislative champion: Representative David Linsky (who represents Natick and Sherborn). These champions have shown consistent commitment to the program as well as leadership in mobilizing their colleagues.
