FREE High School Programs for February Break 2024

College 101

February 20th from 12 to 3 pm

Students in grades 9-12 explore the basics of college, college applications, careers and college majors and more! Students will aim to understand their "WHY" they want to attend college, how to prepare for college, how to choose a major, explore many different college paths and choose their own!

Franklin Cummings Tech

February 21st from 10 to 3 pm

Franklin Cummings Tech (formerly known as Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology) will hosts students, providing them with the chance to talk to Franklin Cummings Tech admissions counselors and faculty regarding their admissions process, tour the campus, explore Franklin Tech majors and more! Students will then choose a course they are interested in and visit that class in real time.

Worchester Polytechnic Institute

February 22nd from 9:30 am to 4 pm

12 spaces available

Students will meet with an admissions counselor to learn more about the college application process, and tour Worcester Polytechnic Institute to learn about the various resources and services that college campuses offer. They will also meet with representatives from The Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Multicultural Education (ODIME)

Needham Bank - Financial Literacy & Career Exploration

February 23rd from 12 to 3 pm

Students will explore financial literacy which will include any topics such as: understanding paychecks, tax forms and taxes! How to invest, budget, build, wealth and more!

We will also host a panel with Needham Bank professionals in order to give students the opportunity to participate in career exploration which will include a Q&A.
